The Final Tally: See You In August!

Final week numbers for the NFL Football pool 2008. These have been checked, rechecked, and rechecked again. Jim Peck and Mary Alexander split the 10% cut for third place, Eric Barbosa fell to second place and gets 30%, and your author this evening, Adam Peck, finished in first place for the first time in almost a decade, landing the 60% share. At the other end of the spectrum, Verna Davidson finished in sole possession of last place and gets her $30 back.

I started the week three games behind Eric, and a freakishly unlikely bunch of results helped me take this lead--thank you, teams like the Jets, Cardinals, and Falcons! Thanks to everyone who participated, and to Justin Roper (four touchdown passes) and Jonathan Stewart (256 rushing yards) for racking up 56 points in Oregon's bowl game.

Jim Peck: $30 for leading at Week 8
Verna Davidson: $30 for finishing last
