Week Sixteen

Unless something really unexpected happens, either Les or Brad will win. The two games they are competing in are Indy (Les) vs Denver (Brad) and Dallas (Brad) vs. NYG (Les) on Monday night.
Jim (dad) is just behind them, but has only one game different than each and cannot take first place. The guys tied at 148 have an outside chance at first place, but the odds are really, really long. Astonishing note: there is a strong possibility that Les will wind up winning with 162 games for the third year in a row.

Week Fifteen

Wow. Terrible week all around. Back in week nine I said it was our worst week ever, and we picked 51.4% right that week. Well, we just outdid that by a ways: as a group we got just 41.8% right this week. In other words, the average score was less than seven out of 16 games.
The overall effect wasn't much--Les actually extended his first place lead to two games over Brad and Dominic, and to four games over Jim and Les's son George.
The fact I posited Neuheisel for UO offensive coordinator last week and saw not a single comment makes me suspect nobody's reading this. Anyone out there?

Weeks Thirteen and Fourteen

We've got an interesting clump of people crowded around the top of the standings--five people within four games, and seven people within six games. The bad news is that I'm not among them.

Rumor of the week in Seattle: Rick Neuheisel will be made UO offensive coordinator in 2005. Me, I like it.
